I have both a projector and a DVD player. I normally connect the two used a long s-video cable. I recently bought cable and would like to connect my cable box to my projector. However there is no s-video connection on the cable, but only 2 scart, TV (male), antennae out (female), cable and Ethernet connections.
I have already tried an s-video adaptor connected to my scart but the pictures that come through the projector are very faded in colour/nearly black and white. I do not have an AV amp, but do have a television and a regular hi-fi set up through which I run my audio.
Can anyone help?
