Why pay more then $200.00 for a Pansat 2500a. Buy it directly from Panarex for $175.00 and flash it yourself. Cant believe some people here charging from $300.00 to $400.00 dlls. Did you guys know that wholesale price is $100.00 for these 2500a? But you dont need to buy them wholesale, if you just need one they sell them for $175.00. Ask for Hugo at Panarex. http://www.pansatusa.com/aboutus.htm |

Is there a FTA for dummies on the net? What do you need? Will a dtv dish work? What can you recieve? Is it completely illegal? Is it doomed? Is there a complete answer to starting up somewhere ?

the best site for fta info is dsshelper.com and anyone thats paying these guys $300 to $400 are getting screwed....setting up a pansat 2500 is very easy..easier than screwing around with avr's...magic cards....and dish cards themselves, all you do is a simple flash, download your channels and your up and running |

My pansat 2500a receiver worked fine for 4 days. Then as I switched channels the receiver would turn itself off and back on returning to the previous working channel. This left me with one channel only. Had the receiver reprogrammed, worked fine for 1 hour, then same problem occured. Please help! |

Pansat 2500A at Ebay is for $189 to your door (3 day fedex). That's how I got mine. Just flash it yourself. Use Dave's equipment. As easy as HU to program. Great support at this site. http://www.al7bar.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=4 I already emailed Panarex, they only sell to dealers. Don't need to get screwed. |

My 2500a is still running fine but the PPV arent waiting for a new fix.All other channels still work great. Also the BB pansat and Fortec are all basicaly the same just different makers with different prices. The problem with your Pansat when its telling you downloading data is you are on a PPV channel and you need a update like the rest of us that is if you are veiwing 110 & 119. |

Dish Network is paying me to change out two old receivers (both 301). This seems strange since Charlie never did anything much for us old customers. Should I sell these rather than send them in for new ones. Can they be programmed easily? Also.. any news on the Pansat receiver? Email me if you have info @ clemsonnascarfan@yahoo.com.
