My 52HM84 is only about 1 month old. We've noticed about 3 or 4 times lately that while watching TV, the screen goes blank, but we can still hear the audio. We then have to turn the TV off, turn off our HD DVR receiver from Adelphia, then wait about 3 to 5 minutes and turn everything back on. Anybody else experience this?? HELP

My guess is that it is an issue with the HD DVR box. I don't think the light engine would just fail like that and then be ok 3 to 5 minutes later. If that happens again, I would try just turning off the HD DVR box, let it sit for a while and then turn it back on. I know I've had issues with still pictures and such from my receiver when the audio kept going...so I would guess this is probably the same type of thing.

That is what I was thinking too Roger. Also, I switched out the component video and audio cables this morning for an DVI to HDMI cable, leaving the component audio in place. I'll see if that helps too.
