While I was at work today, my wife reports that my daughter stepped on the remote and turned the tv off. She says that she then attempted to turn it back on, but only got the flashing light (which is usual as it starts up) but the TV never started and the light remained flashing (it usually goes solid and then the picture appears). She probably tried this on/off bit a few times, which may or may not have done something to further the problem.
Do you have any idea what this problem might be and what I can do to fix it? Also, if you happen to know where the best online forum for these sorts of questions, please also let me know.
I've owned this expensive TV for less than 16 months and I can't believe it is already broken. |

I've just read through these messages and I'm very angry. Once I've verified that it is the bulb, I'll post to the list.
Anyone seriously considering legal recourse for these cases? I faulty product is bad enough, but a known faulty product with bad customer service and wildly overpriced replacement parts is another. 10,000 hours... yeah right! |
