any owners of this TV having audio problems with it? i have 2 issues;
1. variable audio in/out does not seem to work when connecting tv to my sony receiver. however, when i connect the receiver to the TVs monitor out it works. the monitor out is for connecting the tv to another tv basically not a stereo receiver.
2. every so often the audio (TV speakers as well as stereo speakers) experience interference. it sounds like static but it doesnt affect the video just audio. i cant seem to pinpoint it.

any suggestions or hints?

I don't have your TV but my Toshiba 44" DLP is rumored to be built by LG anyways (Who builds the zenith). The exact same thing happened to me:

1. To fix problem 1 you need to turn the TV Volume up to 100 or else you won't hear anything out of the audio out.

2. I too have had the interference that you are talking about. It is easily reset by going into the TV menu and turning audio off and then on again.
