What a load of rubbish! How on earth can you mess up pressing one single button on a remote to mod your player!

Yeah its really going to be dual format HDMI enabled with a HDD from a decent brand for that......I would rather pay £20 to get my machine modded (like I did) then use some piece of junk from the supermarket thats only fit for my daughters room! |

Please HELP!!! How do I hack SONY SAVA-D900? It's in region 1, but I want it to be able to play region 2 (Europe-MidEast) and region 5 (Russia) DVDs.

NTSC region 1 only models cannot play PAL region 2 discs, even if made multiregion. this is nothing to do with region codes, but video formats. PAL machines can play NTSC (as region 2 is PAL (UK/europe) AND NTSC (japan). Region 1 is NTSC only (Canada and USA) hence no PAL capability. |

I got this from www.dvdexploder.com/multihacks and it was bang on the nail. Cheers guys.
How to convert your Aiwa XR-DV370KN player into a multi-region compatible machine.
To convert this player to Multi-Region playback
1. Press the Pause button on your remote control
2. Using your remote control enter the code 3, 1, 4, 1, 5 and 9 Note: If your unit does not enter the following mode which enables you to enter a region code, repeat steps 1 and 2. You may need to enter these codes in a shorter time span for them to work.
3. Press the 0 button on your remote control for Region free, 1 for Region 1 or 2 for Region 2.
4. Press the Pause button on your remote control 5. Power off your player and wait a few seconds 6. Power on your player. |

www.dvd-unlock.co.uk I have a Panasonic SA-HT80 that I could not seem to play anything on or find a free code. The link has a huge data base and if not the owner suggests to contact him?? Hope it helps, the code seems to have worked on my machine which I put the code in only 1 hour ago but has already accepted over a dozen dvd's that it previously wouldn't. Still will not accept my Robbie Williams music DVD which is a Pal region 4 which I am in Aust so is very strange. Any ideas with that one would be great Cheers Nicole Aust |

I think the whole Panasonic range is a difficult series to unlock. However, the Tech Team at www.dvdexploder.com/dvdcodes seem to be making some breakthroughs and developed some Panasonic HT*** codes.
I'd give them a try, as their customer service team is fantastic, even if you're simply making an enquiry. They've helped me in the past with seemingly 'unlockable' machines and respond rapidly to e-mails. Surprising really. |

Open tray
press STOP
then press 734466
menu comes up and press down arrow until "0" for region free
then ENTER to confirm |

As coveerd here already there is no code for a Panasonic model. You need to either buy it new modified by a specialist dealer, or have it modified by a specialist dealer. You can get the bits and do it yourself from www.multiregionupgrades.com, or most Shop@panasonic shops can do this for you. |
