I'm thinking of buying a 50" RCA Scenium. Every time I've seen the set at stores the picture looked great. Anyone know of any problems with this set? Is it worth it to wait for the new 1080p sets that are coming out? Thanks for your input. This is a wonderful forum, everyone is so knowledgable! Thanks again all information is appreciated.

Nothing is being broadcasted in 1080P format at this time. It may become the standard in a couple of years. By then the price may come down. I don't see any advantage for these reasons. 720P is stunning and it's the native format for most RPTV's. I'm a Samsung guy. I can't recommend an RCA anything.
