I am trying to hook up a satellite dish and receiver.I have an older home that is wired for cable TV. Can I hook the cable from the satellite dish into the cable that comes from the street where the existing cable enters the house? Can I then put the receiver at the cable outlet inside? Thanks for your help!

anon...yes U can...but depending upon how the cable is wired, don't know how many TV's are wired to the main cable outside which U need to hook up to a LNB on a satellite dish..probably just one..U will have to trace the wire and look for splitters etc..
