Hi. I probably have a very amateurish problem but i would really appreciate your help! Basically i am trying to hook up a VCR with my computer using an S-video cable. I have a USB-video adapter thing for my comp. The strange thing is that the picture is stuck in black and white, despite changing equipment. When using the same cable from by hi-8 camcorder the picture is fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Something that i forgot to mention is that my VCRS (i have tried two!) which are both recently bought, do not actually have s-video ports. I'm using a scart adapter which includes s-video.
