I hear that many have connected their Satellite receivers to their TV via Component cable.

Can someone show me where component cables are capable of carrying either a 720 or 1080 signal??

The reason I ask is because I believe component cables are only 480, and folks who think they can get a HD signal from them are mistaken and ruining their system.
