I've had my laserdisc player forever, which I love. Recently I have been looking at widescreen TV's. Unfortunatly I have been told by salesmen that laserdiscs do no perform well on HDTV's or digital Tv's for that matter, and look there best on analog. Is there any truth to this. Also I was told if I had a laserdisc that is in the 16:9 ratio it would not display right on a 16:9 TV becuase the laserdisc is not "amimoriphic". Is this true? what does animorphic mean any way? thanks
