I had a Sharp TV set up with my primitive antenna hooked up to it and received all local channels just fine. I have replaced the TV with an ESA television, using the same antenna, but I only can pick up the lower channels. I wonder if this has to do with UHF/VHF problems, but I see no way in the ESA TV menus to address this problem. Any ideas?

many newer tv's won't display a channel unless it has a predetermined single strength and will just display blue. i suggest trying an amplified indoor vhf/uhf antenna (assuming you are currently using indoor variety) to see if fixes problem. purchase at a store with 30 day return policy
