I have a Daewoo CTF2735 27" flat screen. I was trying make it work with a General Electric universal remote controller (RM24927 or RM94927)using automatic code search. I was testing all the buttons when suddendly the TV began to produce noise and the image distorted. The set didn't respond to any of the control commands. I umplugged it and replugged it, when turned on again the screen was deformed and the menu was written in an asiatic language. The tv set is brand new and now is so distorted that's impossible to use it. Any suggestions

Sounds like you got into the service menu somehow. If it was me, I'd look around and see if I could find the procedure/sequence to get into it again, and try to put things back to normal.
