can't seem to get any channels on my fortec. First the screen said downloading info then input data would come up. I went to dsscommuntiy and downloaded the new key code deal and know it says key codes changed. Now for some reason it says bad channel or scrammbled channel. I thought the software download was supposed to unscrammble the channels. Can any one help please.

Need to scan the channels or download a channel list...go back to dsscommunity and download a channel list and do some more reading.Changing the parity keys is NOT scanning the channels or adding a channel list!...read both the pansat and fortec areas, since they're basically the same..

Hi,
I am about to buy a FTA unit...here is a site that has the newest model avalable. I am presently testing with a DVB card (Nexus-s) and its been solid with Dish and Bev.

THe Max 2000....for 199 CAD...that is a good price from what I have seen.

I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a FTA unit.

And no there is no P4/5 hack....
