I'm going to be buying a CRT projection HD ready TV very soon. My PC has a 2nd DVI output. The manual for the TV says that the digital input is not meant for use with PCs. But, If I make sure the PC video output is set to match the TV's resolution and refresh rate, would there be any problem using the PC through the TV? I dont't want to damage the TV obviously. But I would think if the the gets a signal it can understand from the PC there would be no problem. I don't need to use the PC on the TV, but it would just be a nice bonus...Any input is appreciated. |

Is there some kind of trick to getting any answers around here? I've asked a few questions that I think are reasonable and have never gotten a reply. |

Don't do it. It is as dangersous as removing the tag from your mattress. Tread these waters at your own risk. Peas

What about VGA to component video converters. Do they pose the same risk? Is the picture quality good from them? |
