I got a toshiba combo unit (the D-VKR3SU) and am having a problem watching a rented dvd on it - the aspect ratio can't be adjusted, so it looks squished. It's fine on my regular dvd player. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

You must go the the internal menu of the DVD player and select what aspect ratio your TV is (4:3 or 16:9) and also select either an output of 480i or 480p.
