Hey, i really have no idea what im doing, so forgive me if my question is totally absurd. I put a splitter on the coax cable that was plugged into my digital cable box. On the splitter one cable goes back into the original box and the other cable goes into the back of my new tv. I get some channels like espn and mtv, but most of the good channels that im interested in (comedy central, discovery channel, etc..) are scrambled. Im not looking to get any PPV or premium channels, just the basics. Is there a way for me to get this to work on my new tv w.o renting another cable box?
