hello

I just got the DR-MV1S JVC DVD/VHS recorder. I haven't been able to get it hooked up right - two tuners in it AND I have a cable box. I have a JVC TV with S-Video, I have an optical on my JVC RX-8020V receiver - so I link the DR-MV1S to the receiver optically, to the TV s-video. But I can't view certain channels and or in auto channel setup it misses some. The instructions are if you do not have a cable box - throw that in to a 2 tuner deck and you have a mess (to me anyway),

It says from cable to splitter to one each into back of deck and then to TV out to TV. But I am not sure about audio cables and such. Can someone stor me to a diagram or something to hook this up? I have looked all over the 'Net for something.
