Thread: Advent TV has black box in middle of screen |

New Advent TV has a black box in middle of screen when local TV stations are on. Doesn't when other channels are on. It is connected to Direct TV satellite. Direct TV says its the TV. Other TV's in house don't do this, just this one. Small new TV in kitchen. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?? Thanks. |

I had the same problem recently. (I'm a DirecTV subscriber, too). Your TV might be in closed caption text mode - mine was. I turned the closed caption settings off and the box disappeared.
