I will soon receive my new hlp4663w dlp, and I was wondering what I should do with regards to surge protection. Up till now, I've been using the standard $10 on sale belkin power bar for all of my electronics. Is any old powerbar fine or should I be looking for something specific?

You should probably look for something a little stronger. AR has some nice, discount power bars. If you go to a Best Buy, they will wh*re you the $400 Monster box, but you can easily avoid that, by all means. If you want to be ultra sure of yourself, go with the $150 bar from Monster, but, in all honesty, some of the AR bars are just as good and cost much less.
