I've recently bought pre-programmed Fortec ultra receiver and it works fine
BUT the EPG button serve for nothing. I mean When you press it you get a blank grid (NO INFO AT ALL). I spent about 4 hours reading some comments and request here and I want to know if YES or NO there's a way to make it function even not completly - I read that some users can use it but have some problem like time zone/slot etc ... It doesn't matter for me. Please If an expert can def answer this question " DOES THE EPG COULD WORK ?" Please those who aren't sure or never tried to make it work , Be kind and DO NOT Reply , so we can get an expert answer and many buddies be fixed. Right now, I saw that many people still confused and keep asking this questions again and again . Thanks in advance for your help and courtesy
(PS) By the way I can't log to the al7bar.com website (many people give it as ref for fta software). Is it down for a while, dead or sm else ? Is there any miror for it - other than al7bar.ca who is also down - May be due to the high level of trafic who knows |

al7bar.ca is a Dave controlled/owned site,stay away from there!...use www.dsscommunity.com for Dish,FTA forums and files...in fact,there is a special Fortec area there...and are you doing Dish or Bev?..that does matter with program guides |

where ya gettin your info....al7bar.ca was never linked to dave in anyway...they shut down because the owner was rippin peeps off, and those that worked for him, didn't want any part of it. Know the facts |

Well just to let everyone know what a sorry bast*rd AL7.ca is. The Canadian authorities shut down .ca then he came up with another way to keep his forum up through dishtech.ca the they shut that down now he's back up with .tc and the store can't be accessed. He came on to my thread and said the the store would address the non shipment issues once back up and running BS!!!!!! |

al7bar.tk works fine. don't know where fruit-cake Largo Key is getting his info from . It has nothing to do with Dave. Dave is DTV not Dish Or Bell. think about idiot. |

Knee Grow...U're really stupid...I thought U were just goofing on everyone here...Canadian authorities have shut down MANY DTV sites in Canada (many of which are Dave now owned and still operate in business) |

I can't seem to get any channels on my fortec. First the screen said downloading info then input data would come up. I went to dsscommuntiy and downloaded the new key code deal and know it says key codes changed. Can any one help please. |

there is no EPG with FTA...
need to do a scan or DL a channel list,and read some more at dsscommunity. |
