I have a Sony XBR tv and sony vcr. 1.) I can record only the channel I am viewing. I cannot record a channel while viewing another. 2.) Also the picture in picture (PIP) feature does not work.
1. sony said that this is the result of direct TV
2. Direct TV said that to have the PIP feature work, I need to add another satellite box.
Do you agree with these observations?
Can you recommend a VCR or DVD which are compatible with Direct TV so that I can record one channel, while viewing another??
