Hi- Trying to hook-up Panasonic DMR-E55 DVD recorder with: Direct TV,Panasonic TV,VCR,DVD Player AND a Surround Sound Receiver. Manual directions had me split my incoming satellite cable from the wall to my VCR and the Direct TV box. Everything seems to be working except I cannot get my satellite signal now. Is there an option to having to split the incoming satellite?

I do need need help! Am trying to hook up a Panasonic T.V., Technics stereo receiver, Panasonic DMR-E55K DVD Recorder, and Panasonic PV V46245 VCR. I am using basic cable service(COAX). I want to use the DVD Recorder for primary recording of T.V. shows and such, but also want to be able to watch a VHS tape in Surround mode, record T.V. to VHS tape, as well as record VHS tapes to dvd discs. Any help greatly appreciated!
