Can you edit pieces from various Vhs tapes to one DVD?
Say for example,I have 50 VHS tapes. There is 30 seconds on one VHS and 5 minutes on another and so on that I want to edit all to one DVD until it is full. Is that possible and what would be the best machine or method for this? Thanks!

I want to do the same with my old videos (containing recordings from tv). I've just bought some dvd-r's and I realise that I won't be able to overwrite anything. But can I record things in seperate sessions, not have to fill the whole dvd in one go?

I use a dvd rw on my bush comby dvd/vhs recorder to do this as if it overruns you can chop the end of the recording you dont want off and then carry on with the next recording, once a disc is complete on rw then burn it to a dvd-r on my pc and re-use the rw
