Have ATI 9800 Pro vid card (with S-vid or DVI out).

Want to view output on Sony KV-32HS420 HDTV (with Component, S-vid, and HDMI input).

What cable/converter would provide best resolution on the HDTV?

I've heard s-vid to s-vid will look horrible, as will a DVI to HDMI converter.

Have seen a DVI to VGA converter.
What will VGA look like in HD?

Have also seen ATI's DVI to Component converter.
But they say you may get some over-scanning (cropping) if your TV doesn't have 720p mode.
---- I think my Sony does, not sure ---

So, anyone done this before successfully?
Thanks,
