About 2 weeks ago I got a Sony 36" WEGA flat tube TV (KV-36FS100)for a wedding present. I decided to go for the bigger size for the budget ($1000) instead of an HD TV. Is this something I'm going to regret in the near future? Pete |

what are some good alternative options for HDTV in the same budget. I might go down to a 32-34" if it was a comparable price. thanks, Pete |

I have a Samsung 30" Widescreen that was $900 at Best Buy last week. It does great with high definition signals and DVD. Analog is pretty good as long as the station has a strong signal. |

You might regret it in 3-5 years when HD becomes the standard and you have to buy a digital to analog converter (maybe your rented cable box will take care of that for you) or when you see something like the Superbowl in HD widescreen. You could just save up till then, prices will drop. |
