Help! we cant get this tv set up right...in "set up" we select the cable box - General Instruments (Motorola brand) but none of the choices listed change the channel as it is suppose to do when it searches for the correct switch, so we have to skip this part of the setup..thus we havent been able to use the remote that came with the tv. we have successfully used the remote that came with the cable box to change channels etc - however now we want to set up a vcr too. although i believe we have all the connections right, the vcr will not program in the channels automatically & punching in channels by their numbers doesnt change the channel either - any idea where we might start to get things all ran through properly??? thanks in advance for any help!!
