Hi! I have 2 VCRs and a satellite decoder connected by scart leads. When the top VCR and middle VCR are turned on and tuned to scart input the satellite box plays OK on the top VCR's channel. However, if I set the middle VCR to standby the picture remains but the sound disappears on the top VCR's channel. It should not do this. I have a further machine connected by scart to the "video out" of the top VCR which also looses the sound, but only when the bottom VCR is turned off and not if the top one is turned off instead. Could this be a scart lead problem or is it a fault with the bottom VCR. Scarts should work with machines turned off, shouldn't they? Access to the scarts is a nightmare so I only want to experiment with changing leads around as a last resort!
