Mine is about 3 months onld now. I am now getting a message on power on - "Has bulb been replaced?" Press enter for Y or Cancel for N Anyone else seen this message or know why? |

Rob Hilden, I have the 52725. I saw that same message once after I had unplugged / replugged the TV from the AC wall outlet. After I replied no, the message hasn't reappeared. Mike. |

I think I had short power outtages, probably the problem. i just hope its not a sign of a bad or deteriorating bulb.... |

I think it can also happen if you remove the air filter cover which activates an internal switch that turns off power. |

the reason it does this is because the TV has a 4,000 hour timer in it. after that 4,000 hours it will display a msg that basically says your bulb will wear out soon and you should be ready to replace it. if you lose power to the tv it's basically asking you if you want to start the 4.000 hour timer over or not. |
