I just bought emerson dvd recorder but i havent found how to change channel while recording another.....anyone please help!

You'll have to use the TV tuner.

With an RF modulator you've got a problem. You can use an A/B switch, run the modulator output into one input and the cable or antenna or whatever you have into the other input. Then you just set the switch to whichever you want to use.
