I recently purchased a spindle of 100 DVD-R discs with no brand name. I noticed that the dye looks a little funny around the rim. Is it dangerous to use these, even if they work? Will they last? I noticed they're made in India.

I don't know about dangerous to use, they won't damage anything. Will they last, don't count on it. Will they even work, don't bet on it. You get what you pay for.
