I have a Pioneer 510. I've been using 4X DVD-Rs up until now, but a salesman talked me into purchasing Verbatim 8X. Will these work all right and what's the difference? |

I haven't had any problems using 4X or 8X, but I've seen posts from people that have. The 4X and 8X applies to computer burners, standalones record in real time. |

...standalones record in real time. Not my Panasonic E-80 and E-85. They can highspeed dub at 4x for the E-80 and 8x for the E-85. Unless you meant the initial recordimg to the hard drive but once on the drive and edited the highspeed dub is in the digital domain and lossless. xvxvxvx |
