I have a TV set with a built-in digital receiver (freeview). The 2 Scart sockets at the back connect my Video and DVD to the TV. The roof-top ariel co-ax cable currently goes from the roof, to the video, and then to the tv.

My problem is that although I can watch the digital channels, I can't record any of them for later viewing - I'm limited to the five analogue channels. any ideas? Is it just a simple matter of looping the coax signal from the roof to the tv and then allowing the Scart to handle the tv/vcr connection?

Thx in advance!
