Though Time-Warner specifically told me that HBO/Showtime/etc. broadcasts are not copy-protected (thus my purchase of a new Dell with Windows Media Center), I am now confronted with the truth: they are copy-protected...so I can't convert the recordings to DVD! Before I erase the 20+ movies I recorded over the weekend, is there a way around this? Perhaps a method to get the recording to DVD via DVD Shrink/Nero or some other process? If not, I suppose I'm left to demand T-W reimburse me for the cost of the WMC. Thanks, Steve

DVD Decrypyer is the best for retail DVDs, I don't know if it will work on HBO copy once protection or not. Their copy once doesn't work on my standalone, I've copied many movies since they went to copy once months ago. |
