Hello everyone!
I have a Pioneer DVR-310 recorder and I would like to backup the DVDs I have, but every time I try to do it, the screen goes blank. I do not know if this is a copyright protection problem, since I can't even copy the DVDs I've recorded from TV.
Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.

Anna

Hook an s-video cable or RCA jacks, preferable s-video, from the player to one of the inputs on the recorder, be sure it's in and not out, then set the recorder on whatever input the player is connected to. You won't be able to copy factory DVDs without a stabilizer, but you can copy recordings. A DVD burner in a computer will make far better copies than doing it the way you are trying. A computer will make an exact copy.
