Hey, I have my VCR hooked up to the TV with those yellow, red, white jacks and a digital cable box hooked up to the TV with that standard cable that you screw in. But when I try to record something, I get no picture when I try to view what I recorded. In other words, the VCR display is showin the "Rec" but when I switch to "Video" to see what I recorded I only see black. Any help is appreciated. |

I am scratching my head. I have a digital cable box connected to the vcr in by coax, and vcr out to the tv via coax. I also have a dvd connected to the tv via rca. I can watch video tapes but can't seem to record off the cable box. I don't need to record from dvd. any ideas? thanks. |

Set the VCR on whatever channel you set the TV on to watch cable. |
