I just looked at Gateway's 56" DLP, and it looked awesome! I haven't been able to find any reviews/threads on it. Does anyone have any feedback on this set? |

I looked at this set today at the Gateway store.
Did not look all that great. Is this a first gen set with a 4 color wheel? In GW's defense I do not think the sales people in the store are TV people. I was gonna play with the settings to fix it for them but....They also had incandesant spot lights shining on the screen from above . I am going to reserve decision until I can see it under fair conditions. I have heard of DLP complaints of noise due to the fan , I put my ear flat against the back of the set above the fan and there was no discernable noise. |
