Hi,, I just bought a NEC Plasmasync 42" monitor yesterday and I love it.
The main purpose I bought it for was to play video games. It is amazing to play Capcom VS SNK 2 in big widescreen format.
However Im scared about the 'burn in', and I noticed a slight ghosting of status bars when I turned the game off after 12 minutes\(it dissapeared as soon as I got into an anime dvd).
I've heard that you should just watch dvd's for the first 50 hours to break in the screen, but after that, is there a certain amount of time I can saftley play games before any permanent burn in appears? |
