I hope that this is ok since I am not registered but I am having a problem with my vcr. I have about 10 to 15 video tapes that a friend of mine taped for me back in 1998 to 1999 and they have always played perfectly in my vcr. All of this changed pretty quickly though ,see my vcr started to play these tapes dark and blurry and it is very hard to watch. I thought that it was just my vcr so I tried it in another vcr but it also played it dark and blurry. When I was ready to get rid of these tapes I put it in one last vcr then to my surprise that vcr played the tape perfectly but on my vcr the tapes still play dark and blurry and I do not know why. The 2 vcrs that i have tried it on and they played dark and blurry were both HI-FI VCRS one was a sony while the other was a sharp. If anyone could help me figure out why this is occuring and what type of vcr I should get to be able to watch these tapes I would greatly appreciate it.
