My old Zenith VCR just died. I'm looking to purchase a new, inexpensive VCR. Mainly used for lots of recording from TV.

Don't need anything fancy, just something good & dependable !!!

Any suggestions ?

Thanks.

Why Mitsubishi? I just purchased a Mitsubishi s-vhs vcr (hsu748) and it works very well, but I do not know how long it will last. My old Sony lasted 12 years.

Don't plan on getting 12 years out of anything new, the old Sony was more expensive too.
