THIS VHS IS COPY PROTECTED CAN NOT BE COPYED.

IS THERE A WAY? IAM USING AN EMERSON VHS AND DVD RECORDER COMBO.

i`m looking for a good recorder to transfer my old vhs movies to dvds. can you tell me a good brand to get, and how it works. thank you very much..

The JVC records pretty clean from videotapes, but the contrast and brightness aren't as good as the originals. A DVD recorder works just like a VCR basically, except it has many more options than a VCR.
