Help me you guyz! Trying to decide on going with a Loewe 55 Articos or something less pricey like the Samsung HL P5685W. Are new improved models about to launch? Can any of you de mystify me on the HD2 or 2+ or was it HD7? Also what does a color wheel do & what should I look for? All suggestions welcome & I'm not really tied to a DLP, just heard that the plasmas burn & the LCDs are smallish.

I'm no expert, but have a Samsung HLP4663W that is awesome! The HLP's are 3rd generation sets from Samsung that supposedly fixed the noisy color wheel problem some were experiencing. There are new "improved" models coming out every year with most brands -- kinda like the ol' computer race. But I like the DLP's over the Plasma and LCD. |

I own a Toshiba 52HM84 and it's amazing (got it from Best Buy for $3049). Crystal clear picture through the Comcast box. HD is unreal on this set. I looked at the Mitsu and Samsung models, but Toshiba looked the best, and they have a great reputation, especially in Japan. |
