I have a White Westinghouse TV (1998 model) for which I've lost the remote. I just recently got cable, and now the channels with SAP capabilities have the secondary channel turned on.

I bought a generic remote that can do everything except disable the SAP. I don't want to buy a new TV over this, because for my limited needs the TV I have is doing fine.

Any suggestions on where I can find more info, or get a usable remote without paying through the nose? (Heck, I didn't even pay that much for the TV itself)

OK, maybe I should get more specific. What kind of remote will turn off the SAP? My TV's setup menu doesn't offer the option of turning off SAP. And I've bought two different "universal" remotes and neither one has a button for turning off the SAP. I know because I've tried every combination of buttons possible.

So, what kind of remote do you suggest I buy?
