hi my pansat 2500A is giving me some trouble it is downloading data over and over sometime not functioning after some time downloading probly the auto-roll can some 1 help me if so keys is the problem send some new 1s for me HELP. |

Help please. I need new updated codes for my Pansat 2500a receiver. My receiver has been down all day. It appears to download data but gets hung up around 800%. I've tried turning off the box and turning back on but that doesn't appear to work. Please help with the codes. Thank You.

both level and quality are strong, but no pic is received. messaage ... scrambled or bad channels.

Ed...then U screwed up...the manual input of the latest DISHNET keys done EXACTLY as I posted fixes it all
lawlee...what keys do U think U need to change?...your house keys?...DISHNET keys!
did U do a reset,after the keys?...EXACTLY as posted in manually changing the keys.. |

U can use the NEW pansat 2500 autoroll 6-11...it works good..it will autoroll...if the picture freezes (it does for some,not all) on the new autoroll 6-11, just go to the first 2 digits of BOTH key 00 and key 01 and change them back to what they are suppose to be...that will permanently fix any pix freezing.. |

Reapeat info from above, and this worked great thank to all of the folks who post to help. I had to run this twice to get it to work but I knew you had to be right if your was working.

I need some help here. Last night, I was channel surfing when ALL my channels now say "scrambled or bad channel" so I deleted everything and did a Satellite Scan from the Installation menu. I'm still niot getting chsnnels. Is there a setting in the installation menu that needs to be set? I bought this from a friend, but the guy is a BIG TIME jerk who belittles me so I want to get info from here |

new file -85BL_110605_apieub it is freezing up because autoroll scan wrong number. the 2nd digit of the first number was wrong . you have to put in by manual. it will fix the problem.

Picture freezing is caused when AFTER u use an autoroll flash,and the keys autoroll...the keys are NOT rolling correctly and the first 2 digits of EACH key are corrupt,so U must manually enter the first 2 digits of EACH/BOTH keys AFTER the autoroll "rolls". |

the "numbers" (KEYS) are posted at www.maestra.tv/keys or the front page at www.hashhu.com oe www.dss-newbies.net or any reputable site...or can get directly from your computer by downloading the keymaster.exe file/program from any of those sites as well. |

And yes tim if i had your cd i would not be asking this but many of (most I'd say) don't want to mess around with all this downloading stuff. Also some of us are paranoid that you and others like you are collecting our contact info to report us somehow. Most people want to just remain anonymous tim. I hope you get that. u need to get the downloader called 2300_2500_1500 Downloader.exe (newer versions can be found on pansatusa.com)and have the proper cable a (D-sub 9-pin female to female) to hook up to ur computer

i am trying to setup my PANSAT 5000HC & cannot get past the parental control PIN setup. i have no original PIN to enter in the old PIN slot to change it. on the older pansat it was 0000. is there a way to get around this? is there another PIN? don't need the parental controls, just want to get past it to the rest of the setup. any help would be apprec. thnks.

I have really not spent time on gathering info on any new receivers due to the fact that everything was supposed to be dead at this point. So I have been trying to play catch up at the moment. I intend to wait and see how things unfold before I decide anything but the one thing I do know is that I refuse to spend any money on a receiver where the supplier has a noose around my neck. My negative attitude towards BL had almost turned into one of respect when he announced he would have a fix soon for the pansat 2500. and I decided at that time my loyality would stay with pansat and I would upgrade only with pansat. Then the usual games began about when, where, why and thats when I decided no more pansats for me. The latest is the fix will be Sept 6 but I have already decided that the drama associated with this box just isn't worth it. Who knows if next week the 2700 or the even the 5000 will be deemed obsolete and pansat feels no need to support them. I prefer to upgrade things because I want more bells and whistles not because the co. forces me into it with strong arm tacticts.
Im not that delusional to think that dish would make it this easy to hack the new nagra and a voice in my head keeps saying if it looks to good to be true then ................... I am well aware of the risks and also understand if I want a guarantee then sub to dish. Having said that at this point I am leaning towards the viewsat. The support does seem outstanding, the bad bin gave me pause but the co. does seem to be standing behind their product. Does anyone know anything about this co.? How real are the rumors about their finances? Is the co0lsat a clone and a clone to what? I am uncomfortable with the ties of the co0lsat to the same people associated with the pansat. Does anyone know anything about this co.?
I wish I had the tech skill to purchase a dreambox or pc card but I have three strikes against me ( female, blonde & polish LOL). I am really not trying to play the dumb card, I have gone into these files and I thought with reading, patience and time things would click but it is still greek to me. I laugh at how many hours I had to read info about the pansat to get it set up and that had step by step baby instructions. So options are limited and any info would be appreciated.
P. S. ( I laughed out loud when the whole loctite thread was going on the other site, what a hoot it was so sweet!!! Some people just don't have a sense of humor.)

for you TyBy and all the others who had problem getting there units to work with the new N2 file.
in some cases you need to really get your unit to be as clean as it was when it came out of the factory for you to be able to use or "flash" it with the new N2 file, so you might need to flash it with an original pansat bin from pansatusa.com that match your unit model then flash it withthe new file that match your model too make sure you use the right cable and to wait until the file is dowloading is complete.

You have a dead receiver,the hacks that are out for the Pansat2500 are killers they fry the CPU in the box and when that happens the Game is over you have a door stop.
But look in the forums pansat and blaklist said that they well repair all boxes look around for the address where to send your receiver it is here someplace.
I myself am waiting for a new hack that well not over temp the cheaper and slower chipsets I hope they find one in a week or two |

Ok all, here is what I got so far:
I waited and waited and finaly got my pansat2500 on the nag 2 bandwagon. I used blacklist updater v1.4 to load pansat bins from dss central.
1. I did a factory reset on my box, up until now I was getting some locals on nag 1.
2. I loaded the boot60 bin to start from scratch.
3. I loaded factory pansat bin: 2500A_050101_232_api(N).bin
4. I loaded new nag 2 bin:
X-85BL_050909_253_api(N)_2.bin
5. I loaded latest p_orn bin:
Pansat 251 slow ecm 09-13-05.BIN
6. Loaded channel list using GTools:
2500N2DP.GTD
7. Plugged my sh*t in and it works!!!!
I have most channels on nag 2 but only problem is some transponders don't get any single. A couple of p_orn channels keep going in and out.
Here are the SAT's I'm getting and the transponders that get no reseption:
Echo 8.6/Ku
Transponders 4,7,9,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30, 31,32 out!
On these transponders Level is average 60, Quality is 0.

On these transponders Level is average 70, Quality is 0.
My box is original pansat, says made in Korea and has FCC stamp on back plate, no sticker.
So for all you programmers I hope this info helps in the fight. Keep up the good work and please let me know what to do or expect from here on. Thanks to all who contribute, and please less garbage posts, these threads are getting out of control. Laterz |

I have a Pansat 2700a and am using it with the 3 lnb oval dish with the multiswitch. I am getting 89% but 0 quality. What should the pansat setting be? |

I flashed my Pansat 2500A with the new N2 fix bin, but no matter what channel list i try to download, I end up with the "knightrider lights" flashing back and forth. i tried just doing a blind scan, and I get some of the channels, but none of the Fox Sportsnets!? I'm kinda new at this, what am I doing wrong??? |
