I was able to successfully record several DVD-Rs from the 80 gig hard drive, but now all of a sudden it won't let me finalize. I record onto them, then when I go to finalize, it tells me it can't play the disk and can't record on it and won't let me finalize it. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Otherwise I love the unit. |

Try unpluging and pluging back in. Digital equipment likes to lock up sometimes. Did you change media? |

I tried unplugging and plugging back in, but the Disk Set Up area is still greyed out and so I cannot finalize any disks. I have not changed the media, but it doesn't have anything to do with the media. |

I'm not familiar with that machine, so I don't know what to tell you. When my Panasonic E20 went bad on me it quit finalizing discs is what happened. Could be the machine. |
