I have been using a sony 32" for the last 12 years and think I'm ready to upgrade.

I'm looking at the Sony 42" LCD projection TV. I sit about 9' from the TV and don't want to go any bigger. I have DTV Sat. and it looks like I can upgrade to HDTV from DTV and recieve my local channels in HD over the air and see my HD local channels in my DTV guide just like I do now. However, I'm hooked on my DVR and can't live without it.

Get the TV now and wait for the DTV HDTV reciever with built in DVR? Or wait longer for everything? Will HDTV get better, meaning higher qaulity?
