REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Umax

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-6000 This method was originally in German, so forgive me if this rough translation doesn't work.

1. Press Setup and choose Preferences menu.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Step, FFwd, FBwd.
3. Press Pause, Stop, Vol- and you should then be able to select region or use 0 for region free.
4. Press Play to start disc.

   

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-6500 1. Press Eject on the Remote Control.
2. Using the Remote Control, key in the following: 7, 7, 7, 7, followed by the region number required, or use 9 for Region Free.
3. If this key sequence doesn't work, try 1, 2, 4, 8, followed by the region of choice.
4. Do not use numbers above 9 for region!
5. Press Eject again and the menu will shut down. 		Yes.
