REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Teac

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
MVD-100 (DVD/VCR combo) 1. Power on unit
2. Open tray
3. Using the remote
(press buttons slow and deliberate. you should see an icon that is a circle and blue line through it, top left corner of screen on each key press)

Key in
0 5 2 0
then the
Up ^
Down v
Left <
Right >
Arrow keys, located around the enter/ok key.
Close tray.
4. The words region free should appear on the screen.
5. Repeat the above process to Lock region back again. 		Yes

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DV-1000
DV2150
DV2200		 1. Turn the player on using the remote control.
2. Press the Open button to open the disc tray.
3. Using the remote control, key in the following: 2, 1, 6, 8.
4. The current region should now be displayed.
5. Press the Enter key to change the region.

NOTE: you may lose timer/counter function.

Alternate method (not confirmed):

Follow steps 1-3 above.
4. Press Enter, 0, Enter.
5. Turn player off then back on again.

PL-D1000 1. Open the disc tray.
2. Press 3838 on the remote control.
3. A menu will appear.
4. Choose which region you want, or use 9 for region free. You can also turn off Macrovision here.
5. Close tray		 Yes

PL-D1200 1. Open disc drawer.
2. Using the remoter control, key in the following: 8, 1, 3, 2, 8.
3. Press enter to select region (specific region or 9 for region free) 4. Close disc drawer		 Yes
