REGION FREE METHODS FOR : Schneider

 

MODEL(S) : METHOD : CONFIRMED?
DVD-511 1. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
2. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
3. Press the 6 button on your remote control.
4. Press the 7 button on your remote control.
5. Press 1 for Region 1, 2 for Region 2, and so on, or alternatively Mute button on your remote control for All Regions.

To convert this player for VCD playback
1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray.
2. Place an audio CD in the drive tray.
3. Press the Open button on your remote control to close the drive tray.
4. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
5. Press the 1 button on your remote control.
6. Press the Index (1-All) button on your remote control.
7. Press the Open button on your remote control.
8. Press the 1 button on your remote control.

HCS-500 1. Open the player's tray.
2. Using the remote control, key in the following: Volume Up, Fast Forward.
3. The on screen display will show 321 followed by the current region code.
4. Using the remote control, key in the following: Volume Up, Fast Forward.
5. Repeat  step 4 until the desired Region code is shown on the display.
6. Press and hold the Angle button on the Remote for approximately five seconds to select the Region.

DVD810 1.  Press Menu, 9, Open/Close, 5 on the remote control.
2.  A service menu will appear enabling you to change the region.

Check which version of firmware you have by pressing Menu twice in stop-mode

2. Press Setup on the remote control.
3. Choose the right item in the menu. This is the one that has settings VFD, Password, etc.
4. Using the remote control, key in the following:  3, 3, 3, 3.
5. In the secret menu now displayed choose the Region code 0 - 6 and confirm with the Enter button.

DVD857 1. ENSURE A REGION 2 DISK IS IN THE PLAYER.
2. PRESS SET UP ON REMOTE CONTROL.
3. PRESS 7 ON REMOTE CONTROL.
4. PRESS PAUSE/SET UP ON REMOTE CONTROL.
5. PRESS THE PREVIOUS BUTTON ON THE REMOTE,l<<.
6. PRESS THE NEXT BUTTON ON THE REMOTE,>>l.
7. PRESS SETUP ON REMOTE CONTROL.

Another method:

1. Using the remote control, key in the following: Open/Close, Clear, 1, 3, 6, 9, followed by the region number required, or 0 for region-free.
2. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control.

You may have to do it 3 times to get it to work.

DVD1003 1. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control.
2. Press the Clear button on your remote control - this is located next to the Zoom button.
3. Using your remote control, key in the following: 1, 3, 6 and 9, in order, one at a time.
4. Press the 1 button on your remote control to select region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 0 for multi-region playback.

2. Type 81328 on your remote.
3. A window will appear on your tv.
4. Press the enter key to move to region 9.
5. Press play to close the drawer.
6. The machine is now permanently multiregion.

Enabling VCD playback:

1. Turn On the player and place a VCD on the open tray
2. Using the front panel press Close quickly followed by Menu and 5 on the remote
3. This should load and play the disc. If the disc fails to play then press 0, 0, 0, 1 and the disc should then play
