I play music from my iPhone (ie. via inbuilt iPod on the phone) through my car stereo via an Aux lead. Problem is the sound is only coming out of one of the two front speakers. I've tried it on a stereo indoors and the same thing happens so I'm assuming the fault lies with the lead. Before I go buy a new one can someone confirm this or otherwise? Is there a particular Aux lead I should go for? Cheers for your help.

I know that the 1st gen ipod touch (which is similar to the iphone when playing music) has had problems with the headphone jack. Many people have had problems with the ipod only playing the Rights or Lefts (in your case, Fowards). At this point I do not know of any solution to this except to contact Apple (1-800-MY-APPLE). As far as the AUX, any cord should work. I got mine from RadioShack. Hope this helps.
